About me
My name is Jozef and I have spent the past 10 years working for insurance companies, initially developing and implementing actuarial models with specialized software like Emblem, SPSS Modeler or Sophas.
For the better part of this decade, I am developing and deploying productive applications mostly written in R, for example computing Solvency II SCR. Currently, I am working on implementing and deploying predictive models for future insurance cash-flows under IFRS17 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Voluntary work
When time allows, I contribute pull requests to my favorite R packages such as blogdown, sparklyr, logger or testthat.
I also developed an Open simulation model of the Slovak pension system and served as a board member of the Slovak Society of Actuaries. Recently I also try to help fellow developers on StackOverflow.
